Check out what we’ve been up to.

    Summer Camp 2021

Miss Val and Miss Michelle have put together another fun program for area students this summer. Session One was a huge success! The kiddos had a great time and made some amazing art.

Acrylic pouring is messy but beautiful!

    Dawna Thorstad Demo in February

Dawna creates animal images from acrylic pour paintings. Her technique is really interesting and the results are lovely. We hope she can hold a workshop as soon as social distancing is no longer needed.

    Helga Flowers Workshop

Helga hosted a four day workshop in early February that focused on mixed media and watercolor techniques. She specializes in florals and birds, and is influenced by imagery from her native Germany and current home in Michigan. I think everyone who attended will agree it was a great learning experience and a joy to work with her.

Helga paints very loosely and lets the color flow. She created this image in less than 30 minutes. So gorgeous!

    Beverly Osborne Demo in January

Beverly is a talented colored pencil artist who gave us a fun demo at our January meeting. Her work is very detailed and beautiful; her demo focused on animal eyes.

We had a beautiful day of plein air painting at the Titusville Marina in November.

Artists had fun capturing the light and reflections.

    Sunshine Saturday 2019

It wasn't very sunny outside but inside was bright and fun as our volunteers provided a variety of activities for area children! The SPCA was there, too, with adorable pets waiting for adoption. Thank you to everyone who helped to make this a successful event!

    Art Outside the Box

This spring NBAL and Greater Titusville Renaissance proudly awarded display spaces on downtown Titusville traffic utility boxes to eight of our member artists. Pictured from left to right are Jeff Thamert, Brandon Stanley, Betty Whitmire, Renee Stewart, Darleen Hunt, Michele Akimenko, and Terrence Cope. Not pictured: Olivia Pickering. Congratulations and thank you for helping to beautify our town!
