Dear Members and Participants,
The NBAL board met Friday afternoon to discuss our upcoming events and how to go forward while dealing with the current global health crisis. We want to serve our membership as best as we can, and respect the concerns of anyone who does not wish to congregate in crowds during this situation. It was decided that at this time, our best action is to postpone the Spring art show until this Fall, when (hopefully) COVID-19 will have subsided and life is back to normal. While we have no guarantees for what will actually happen, right now we have reserved the Holiday Inn for October 8-11, 2020.
If you entered the show, your entry is still valid. Everything will be the same except the dates. We know many of our members do not return to Florida until winter, however. If getting your artwork in on the delivery date is an issue, please contact Diane Cannon at (321) 258-7976 to discuss alternate arrangements. We would be happy to hold your piece and deliver it for you, if need be.
We also discussed having a time period in late summer for entrants to switch out pieces if necessary (you sold your entry, or it was damaged/lost). We would also accept new entries during this period for anyone who has not yet entered, so we will continue to publicize and encourage the public to participate. We tentatively set the re-entry period from August 15 to September 15. As we get closer to that time we will provide more details.
